Fantasy Land: Studs and Duds, Week 17

A two-time champion in a hardcore keeper league, including some know-it-all media "experts," Adam Boedeker gives his fantasy expertise on a weekly basis.

Stud of the Week

Odell Beckham, WR, NYG — I get it. You're thinking, "Wow, what a great piece of advice, Adam. Start Odell Beckham. Thanks." But it's not that simple. The Giants have nothing to play for, and neither do the opposing Eagles. But Beckham had something to play for last week. Instead, he was suspended for his boneheaded actions two weeks ago against the Panthers. Now, he has one last chance for redemption, and not to mention the fact that Eli Manning has always played well against the Eagles and in these Week 17 games, even when they mean nothing.

Honorable mention: Blake Bortles, JAC (at HOU); Matthew Stafford, DET (at CHI); Tim Hightower, NO (at ATL); Martavis Bryant, PIT (at CLE).

Dud of the Week

Kirk Cousins, QB, WAS — There hasn't been many a hotter quarterback in the NFL lately than Washington's Cousins. But this isn't the week to count on him, even after he tossed four touchdowns and threw for well over 300 yards a week ago. It's not so much that Dallas' defense is going to be in his way, it's more the fact that the Redskins have their playoff fate sealed. It can't improve or get worse. So there's a pretty great chance Cousins will play very sparingly, if at all.

Honorable mention: Derek Carr, OAK (at KC); Alfred Morris, WAS (at DAL); Denard Robinson, JAC (at HOU); Tyler Lockett, SEA (at ARI).
