Fantasy Land: Studs and Duds, Week 15

A two-time champion in a hardcore keeper league, including some know-it-all media "experts", Adam Boedeker gives his fantasy expertise on a weekly basis.

Stud of the Week

Nick Foles, PHI, QB — Foles has etched his way up the ladder of fantasy quarterbacks since taking over in Philadelphia for Michael Vick. He's almost in no-brainer territory now. Even last week in one of the most ridiculous weather games we've seen in recent memory, Foles put up numbers. This week? Good gosh, he has a great matchup. The Eagles travel to Minnesota, to play indoors against one of the worst pass defenses in football that's missing its top cornerback. Look out.

Honorable mention: Matt Ryan, ATL (vs. WAS); Shane Vereen, NE (at MIA); Dez Bryant, DAL (vs. GB); Riley Cooper, PHI (at MIN).

Dud of the Week

Victor Cruz, NYG, WR — Continuing our NFC East theme, Cruz is the perfect candidate to do a lot of nothing on Sunday as the Giants host the Seattle Seahawks. First off, the Seahawks have a big-boy secondary led by Richard Sherman that doesn't give up much to anyone through the air. Secondly, quarterback Eli Manning never really woke up from what has become a season-long slumber, and Cruz hasn't scored since Week 4.

Honorable mention: Michael Crabtree, SF (at TB); Chris Johnson, TEN (vs. ARI); Chris Ivory, NYJ (at CAR): Tom Brady, NE (at MIA).
