Fantasy Land: Studs and Duds, Week 13

A two-time champion in a hardcore keeper league, including some know-it-all media "experts", Adam Boedeker gives his fantasy expertise on a weekly basis.

Stud of the Week

Philip Rivers, SD, QB — The Chargers quarterback was on our dud list last week due to his matchup with one of the league's top defenses playing in Kansas City. He made us look silly as he had one his best games of the year, passing for just shy of 400 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions. This week, he returns home to face a banged up Bengals defense and should be in line for another big day.

Honorable mention: Josh McCown, CHI (at MIN); Maurice Jones-Drew, JAC (at CLE); Jarrett Boykin, GB (at DET); Nick Foles, PHI (vs. ARI).

Dud of the Week

Robert Griffin III, WAS, QB — The Giants haven't been terribly kind to opposing QBs lately, with the slight exception of Tony Romo last week, who had a pretty solid game. The 2013 edition of RG3 resembles more closely the bad bunch of quarterbacks the Giants faced in their four wins leading up to the Cowboys loss last week. RG3 is in serious danger of being benched as it's becoming more and more clear that he still isn't fully recovered from his knee surgery, and some 49ers players said after the game last week that he shouldn't be playing.

Honorable mention: Andrew Luck, IND (vs. TEN); Ben Roethlisberger, PIT (at BAL); Tavon Austin, STL (at SF); Marques Colston, NO (at SEA).
