Fantasy Land: Studs and Duds, Week 12

A two-time champion in a hardcore keeper league, including some know-it-all media "experts," Adam Boedeker gives his fantasy expertise on a weekly basis.

Stud of the Week

Josh Gordon, WR, CLE — You can bet your bottom dollar that Gordon is champing at the bit to get on the field this weekend after missing the first 10 games due to a suspension for violating the league's drug policy. Gordon had a fantastic season in 2013 and should immediately make a big impact against a less-than-stellar Atlanta secondary in his first game back.

Honorable mention: Tony Romo, DAL (at NYG); Odell Beckham, NYG (vs. DAL); Denard Robinson, JAC (at IND); Josh McCown, TB (at CHI).

Dud of the Week

Philip Rivers, QB, SD — Rivers has struggled in his last two games and now he's dealing with a rib injury and was knocked all around the field in Sunday's narrow win over Oakland. Antonio Gates has slid in his performance, and second-year wideout Keenan Allen has had a rough go in his second season. Rivers started the season on fire, and could eventually get it back, but it won't be this week against a solid St. Louis defense.

Honorable mention: Robert Griffin III, WAS (at SF); Matt Stafford, DET (at NE); Alfred Morris, WAS (at SF); Larry Fitzgerald, ARI (at SEA).
