Fantasy Land: Studs and Duds, Week 12

A two-time champion in a hardcore keeper league, including some know-it-all media "experts", who just so happens to be 2-9 in said league this year, Adam Boedeker gives his fantasy expertise on a weekly basis.

Stud of the Week

Carson Palmer, QB, OAK — For the second time in just a few weeks, Palmer finds himself in this spot after a run this season that, fantasy speaking, has put him right up there with the elite QBs in the league. Granted, much of Palmer's stats come in garbage time and in catch-up mode, but stats are stats in fantasy land. And Palmer puts up a lot of stats. Sunday he'll return to Cincinnati for the first time since leaving the Bengals when they drafted Andy Dalton and will likely have some extra motivation.

Honorable mention: Andy Dalton, CIN (vs. OAK); Tony Romo, DAL (vs. WAS); Jalen Parmele, JAC, (vs. TEN); Danario Alexander, SD (vs. BAL).

Dud of the Week

Robert Griffin III, QB, WAS — I know what you're saying, yes, RG3 had a damn near perfect game last week, going 14-for-15 with four touchdown passes and no interceptions. That was against the hapless Eagles. This week, he'll get a Dallas defense that has made things tough on opposing quarterbacks all season long. And remember, before he torched the Eagles, RG3 had two straight bad games.

Honorable mention: Joe Flacco, BAL (at SD); Mikel Leshoure, DET (vs. HOU); Larry Fitzgerald, ARI (vs. STL); Brian Hartline, MIA (vs. SEA).
