Fantasy Land: Stud and Dud for Week 15

If you have Adrian Peterson, and you've been relying on him to get you through the most important stretch of the fantasy football season, you're probably highly disappointed.

I know. I'm in that boat.

Dud of the Week

Adrian Peterson, RB, Minnesota: Peterson has been pretty dreadful over the last half of the season with the exception of a couple of big games. And with just about every league worth a damn is in the playoffs now, and I wouldn't expect things to pick up this week. Face it, if you're relying on AD, your chances are about as good as the Vikings' chances of actually defeating Chicago this week with some guy named Webb playing quarterback. Peterson faces a good, tough Bears defense, he has a banged up knee and he has an absolute zero playing under center. It's not going to be a good week, and if you have another decent option, I'd go with it.

Stud of the Week

Arian Foster, RB, Houston: On the other end of the spectrum, Foster has continued his hot tear to start the season when he came out of nowhere and elevated to the top of fantasy relevance. Foster has been a man over the last half of the season, much like he was in the first half of the season. Now, he's the NFL's leading rusher with three games remaining. This week, Foster goes up against a team that's basically quit in the Tennessee TItans. The Titans have allowed 160 yards per game over their last four games. That news has to have Foster licking his chops. If you were lucky enough to get Foster in the 10th round of your draft, or whenever it was, consider yourself blessed.
