Fantasy Land: Stud and Dud For Week 7

At one point this season, Marshawn Lynch was seen as the third running back in Buffalo. You know you've fallen pretty far at that point.

The once-prized rookie ran into trouble with the law and saw his career spiral downward.

Now, he's rejuvenated after a trade a few weeks back to Seattle. He mad his debut last week and has a good matchup this week. So...

Stud of the Week

Marshawn Lynch, RB, Seattle: Lynch rushed for just 47 yards and a touchdown last week against the Bears and has a very enticing matchup this week against Arizona, which boasts the 29th best run defense in the NFL. Lynch split carries evenly with Justin Forsett last week and will still share the load but I'd imagine as the weeks go on, Lynch will see the brunt of the carries and I wouldn't be shocked if he toted 20 carries on Sunday and eclipsed the 100-yard mark with at least one touchdown.

Dud of the Week

Jay Cutler, QB, Chicago: After a blazing start to the season, including a great showing against your Dallas Cowboys, Cutler has pretty much been terrible. He missed last week's game with a concussion, and things don't appear to be getting much better this week when the Bears host the Redskins. Washington likes to pressure opposing quarterbacks and induce key holding penalties (ahem...) and the Redskins excel at stopping the passing game with Laron Landry and Carlos Rogers roaming the secondary. It's gonna be a bad week for Jay.
