Eagles Lead Cowboys, 24-0 At Half

After an ugly, ugly first half of football, the Dallas Cowboys are being whipped by the Philadelphia Eagles, 24-0.

The Eagles first scored on a 12-yard touchdown pass from Michael Vick to Jeremy Maclin, to take a 7-0 lead. LeSean McCoy was responsible for the Eagles’ next touchdown, a 2-yard touchdown run. Brent Celek caught a 9-yard touchdown pass from Vick, next. And finally, Alex Henery hit a 23-yard field goal, to make it 24-0 at half.

If it sounds ugly, that’s because it has been. The Cowboys’ defense has allowed 324 yards thus far; the Cowboys’ offense, meanwhile, has managed just 94 total yards. Tony Romo is four-for-eight, for 36 yards and an interception.

So, yeah. That’s the kind of half it’s been up in Philadelphia.
