Dez Bryant Tweets Apology

In the continuation of a developing trend, rookie wide receiver Dez Bryant stood out as one of the few positives--maybe the only positive--in an otherwise miserable performance against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night. Dallas lost to the Packers 45-7, but the rookie was once again impressive. On his Twitter page afterward, per ESPN Dallas, he was apologetic:

I'm sorry to all the Dallas cowboys fans....I promise not to give up and keep fighting ...my mind will not let me”

Bryant caught nine passes for 86 yards and the team’s lone touchdown on Sunday night, but more importantly, it looked as though he was one of the few members of the Cowboys who were invested in the game in any real way. We’ll look past Bryant’s mishandling of a third quarter punt, which led to a turnover, then--as it’s clear that, this season, the young receiver may be all Dallas fans have to be excited about.
