Dez Bryant Returns to Practice

Bryant practiced Tuesday for the first time since suffering a hamstring issue on August 6

Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant returned to practice on Tuesday after missing almost three weeks with a hamstring issue, but was limited in what he was permitted to do by the staff.

There’s a chance he’ll see some action in the third preseason game, against the Vikings on Saturday at AT&T Stadium.

As Jason Garrett said before the workout, via ESPN Dallas, the idea was to have Bryant "get involved in individuals and see how he does and how he responds to that.

While Bryant has made no secret of the fact that he’s been frustrated by his inability to get on the field in the past couple of weeks, Garrett praised the work the All-Pro has done since suffering the injury on August 6.

"Stayed very engaged, really good in meetings, good at the walk-through, engaged with his coaches, engaged with his teammates," Garrett said. "He's a professional."
