Dez Bryant Practicing, Could Return Against Seahawks

Before Wednesday, Bryant hadn't practiced since he suffered a broken foot on September 13

All-Pro receiver Dez Bryant will practice on Wednesday for the first time since fracturing a bone in his foot early in the season opening victory over the Giants, according to Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett.

Both Garrett and Jerry Jones have declared publicly that Bryant will have to practice before he plays. In fact, his absence from practice last Wednesday--he spent the day doing rehab work on the sidelines--was the first sign that Bryant probably wouldn’t return against the Giants.

So is his presence at this week’s Wednesday practice a sign that he will play against the Seahawks?

Not exactly.

Dez is going to work each day, and as this week goes on he’s going to take it day by day,” Garrett told the team’s official website. “Hopefully he can handle the work, and we’ll make our best judgments as a coaching staff as to what his role may or may not be for this weekend.”
