Dez Bryant: “Oh, I'm Playing” on Saturday

Bryant was one of several starters held out of the preseason opener

We haven’t heard from head coach Jason Garrett to this point, but Dallas Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant is adamant that he’ll make his preseason debut against the Ravens at AT&T Stadium on Saturday.

Oh, I’m playing,” Bryant told the team’s official website. “I’m lining up.”

Bryant was one of a handful of starters to be held out of the preseason opener last Thursday in San Diego, a group that also included quarterback Tony Romo, running backs DeMarco Murray and Lance Dunbar, and veteran tight end Jason Witten.

“It’s always exciting,” Witten said. “To get it to carry over to the games, I think that’s where your confidence comes... It’s been a good camp. We’ve got to continue to build on this. As I’ve said, we’re not a good enough team to just think we’re going to roll out there on September 7 and have a chance. We’ve got to continue to build.”
