Dez Bryant: “I'm Dallas for Life”

Bryant's current contract is set to expire after the 2014 season

Dallas Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant was in New York over the weekend, not to play in the Super Bowl of course, but to play in the Gridiron Celebrity Basketball game. While there, Bryant, who is set to become a free agent after the 2014 season, was asked by a TMZ reporter if he’d ever consider leaving Dallas for another NFC East team.

“Hell no,” Bryant told TMZ. “I'm Dallas forever.”

Bryant is coming off the best season of his career thus far--he had 93 catches for 1,233 yards and 13 touchdowns--and his first ever Pro Bowl appearance. Giving Bryant an extension, as well as extending left tackle Tyron Smith, is among the Cowboys’ top priorities going into the offseason.

"Those are all things we’ll be working on,” said executive vice president Stephen Jones.
