Cowboys Will Send 6th Rd. Pick to Baltimore

Baltimore receives the pick in exchange for Rolando McClain

Instead of giving up nothing to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for Rolando McClain, the Dallas Cowboys will give up next to nothing.

As Todd Archer of ESPN Dallas writes, McClain will have played in over half of the team’s defensive snaps when the regular season ends on Sunday afternoon, meaning the Cowboys will send their 2015 sixth round pick to Baltimore. Baltimore will give Dallas a seventh round pick.

To say that the deal was a good one for the Cowboys would be a pretty sizable understatement.

Brought out of retirement to help replace Sean Lee, who went down for the season with a torn ACLon the first day of OTAs, McClain has 81 tackles, a sack and two interceptions on the year and should be a serious candidate for Comeback Player of the Year.
