The Dallas Cowboys’ ninth annual Taste of the NFL: The Ultimate Cowboys Tailgate Party is scheduled for 6:30-9:30 PM on Sunday at the Glass Cactus at the Gaylord Texan, and linebacker DeMarcus Ware and defensive lineman Jason Hatcher will serve as hosts.
The event raises money for hungry children in the North Texas area and, in its eight year history, has already raised more than $1 million and provided more than four million meals for those in need.
Aside from Ware and Hatcher, former Cowboys Daryl Johnston, Preston Pearson and Chad Hennings will be on hand. Fifteen local gourmet restaurants will be providing meals Emerald City will provide live music. The Ultimate Cowboys Tailgate Party is open to the 21-and-over public with the purchase of a ticket, which will run you $175--enough to provide those in need with 525 (!) meals.
