Cowboys Trail Vikes at Half, 10-6

The Vikings came into Dallas with a record of 1-6

The Dallas Cowboys came out flat on Sunday afternoon and find themselves down to the 1-6 Minnesota Vikings after 30 minutes of football, 10-6.

The Cowboys’ scoring has been limited to a pair of field goals by Dan Bailey, of 41 yards (in the first quarter) and 44 (in the second). Dallas actually led for around 10 minutes in the first half, but like last week against Detroit, the defense couldn’t hold as the clock ran down.

After a 23-yard Blair Walsh field goal got the Vikes on the board (and tied the game at the time) in the first, Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder capped a 79-yard drive with a six-yard touchdown run to give his team the 10-6 lead. Ponder finished the first half 14 of 21 passing for 117 yards.

On the other side, Tony Romo is 13 for 20 for 120 yards.

Dallas will receive the opening kickoff of the second half.
