Cowboys Team With Celebrities For Charity Baseball Game

This weekend, Cowboys' fans will have an opportunity to watch some of Dallas's finest celebrities and football players try their hand at America's past time for the sake of a good cause.

The ninth annual Reebok Heroes Celebrity Baseball Game will be held at Dr. Pepper Park in Frisco at 6 PM on Saturday, and will feature, among others, Mavs' owner Mark Cuban, current Cowboys DeMarcus Ware and Bradie James, and legends Daryl Johnston and Drew Pearson. The day kicks off at 2 PM with the Special Olympics Softball All-Star Game .

Following will be the celebrity home run derby and, finally, the celebrity game.

Ware and company will be joined by a teeming gaggle of local celebrities, ranging from former Star Brett Hull to the Portland Trailblazers' LaMarcus Aldridge to Bryan Greenberg, the star of HBO's "How To Make It In America."

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Heroes Foundation--which provides opportunities for athletic competition for children and adults with physical or mental disabilities--as well as the Mike Modano Foundation, which benefits under-served children.

Tickets cost $5, $7, $12 and $15, and are available now at Ticketmaster or at Dr. Pepper Park during regular box office hours.
