Cowboys Take Baylor WR Williams in Third Round

The Dallas Cowboys have taken Baylor receiver Terrance Williams with the first of two picks in third round of the NFL draft.

The Cowboys took the former Dallas high school player with the 74th overall choice on Friday night. They got the pick from San Francisco when they traded down in the first round on the draft's opening night.

Williams was a first-team AP All-America last season after catching 97 passes for 1,832 yards and 12 touchdowns. When Robert Griffin III was throwing to him in 2011, he had 59 catches for 957 yards and 11 scores.

The Cowboys took San Diego State tight end Gavin Escobar earlier in the second round and had another third-round pick at No. 80.
