Cowboys Still Mum on Playcalling Duties

No one outside of Valley Ranch knows who will call plays for Dallas in 2013

The Dallas Cowboys seem to have an idea of who will be calling plays in 2013, but they’re keeping that information under lock and key, for whatever reason. Head coach Jason Garrett made that clear this week when he was asked if the team was still ironing out the details of their mystery system.

"Yeah," Garrett said, per the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. "I think that's a fair way to say it. ...I think we have a pretty good plan, and we’ll execute it as the offseason progresses."

Quarterback Tony Romo, who will reportedly be more involved in the offensive game plan in 2013 moving forward, couldn’t or wouldn’t shed any more light on the subject.

"That’s a big topic for you guys," Romo told reporters. "I’m sure you’ll wear that one out until [it's announced]. I mean, I’m just the quarterback, and I’m just trying to continue to get better and improve and help this team."
