Cowboys Sign Zeke Elliott, 3 Other Draft Picks Wednesday

The Dallas Cowboys confirmed they signed first round pick Ezekiel Elliott and three other draft picks Wednesday.

In a statement released at about 2 p.m., the team confirmed they signed CB Anthony Brown (Purdue), RB Ezekiel Elliot (Ohio State), S Kavon Frazier (Central Michigan) and RB Darius Jackson (Eastern Michigan) to contracts.

Elliott's deal is worth nearly $25 million guaranteed over four years and includes a $16 million signing bonus for the fourth overall draft pick.

The Dallas Morning News' SportsDay reports all of the first-round picks have a team-option for a fifth year.

Elliott is only the third running back the Cowboys have taken with a top-20 pick in franchise history. The other two are Hall of Famers Tony Dorsett and Emmitt Smith, the NFL's career rushing leader.

In his three seasons at Ohio State, Elliott ran for 3,961 yards and 44 touchdowns.
