Cowboys Sign S Peprah, Release WR Radway & Send P Jones To IR

Dallas has made a handful of roster moves over the past 24 hours

The Dallas Cowboys have made a handful of roster moves over the past 24 hours.

The team signed safety (and Plano East graduate) Charlie Peprah on Tuesday to shore up the safety position and, in order to make room for Peprah, punter Chris Jones was sent to the injured reserve. Reports are now suggesting that Jones, who has punted just once since being injured on September 23, may have suffered a partially torn ACL.

This leaves Brian Moorman, who was picked up in free agency after being released by the Bills earlier this season, as the only punter on the Cowboys’ active roster.

Also on Tuesday, practice squad receiver Raymond Radway’s third go-round with the team came to an end, as he was released. He will be replaced on the practice squad by outside linebacker Jerry Brown, previously of the Indianapolis Colts’ practice squad.
