Cowboys Run, Redskins Lead At Half

A Shaun Suisam field goal is the difference in a very boring first half at Cowboys Stadium. The Redskins lead 6-0, after neither team was able to to move the ball offensively.

The only drive the Cowboys were able to mount, ended with a Marion Barber fumble. Then just before the half, Nick Folk was wide right on a 46-yard field goal.

The Cowboys have looked very sloppy in all phases of the game, except for the defense.

As far as the Cowboys running game is concerned, they've answered the critics. In the first half alone the Cowboys have carried the ball 21-times for over 100-yards. Last week Jason Garrett called 14-runs the entire game.

Injuries have plagued the first half. The Redskins are down to their string running back Rock Cartwright, after Ladell Betts left with an injury. Tony Romo is also banged up. After Barber fumbled the ball, Romo made a tackle on DeAngelo Hall, and was slow to get up.

It appears to be a lower back problem, but he has continued playing. Martellus Bennett was also injured after a 15-yard reception from Romo. Andre Gurode and Mike Jenkins were also banged up.
