Cowboys Re-Sign LB Kyle Wilber

Wilber has 3.5 sacks in four seasons with the Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys have had a pretty quiet offseason thus far and that isn’t likely to change with this latest move.

But per the Dallas Morning News, the Cowboys have re-signed linebacker Kyle Wilber, a fourth round pick out of Wake Forest in 2012 who has never really broken through but started six games for the team last year. He finished the season with 24 tackles and no sacks.

Maybe the biggest thing Wilber has going for him is his versatility. He is primarily an outside linebacker, but he’s seen a little time at nickel linebacker as well, and he can even occasionally put a hand on the ground and rush the quarterback as an end.

Wilber’s best season thus far came in 2013, when he posted 44 tackles and a pair of sacks.
