Cowboys Players, Cheerleaders Visit Children's Hospitals

The Cowboys made it a very happy holiday season for children at five local hospitals.

Texas Scottish Rite in Dallas was one of the five hospitals visited by a group of players and cheerleaders Monday morning. Hospital officials said the kids really look forward to the annual visit, especially patient, Chris Mabry.

Mabry is considered the hospital's No. 1 Cowboys fan, and he’s created a bond with at least one of the players, offensive tackle Marc Colombo.

"He's just a really good kid, and I think he had a Romo jersey on, so I told him I would get him a Colombo jersey. I think maybe next year he'll wear it," said Colombo.

The Cowboys have been doing these holiday hospital visits for the past 22 years. This was their 14th year at Scottish Rite.
