It seems we'll know sooner rather than later where Cowboys free agent running back DeMarco Murray will be playing next season, and with the Eagles looking at Ryan Mathews, the list of potential Murray suitors is further dwindling.
You want this guy's prediction? I'll say Murray's back in a Cowboys uniform next season, but if he's not, don't expect the team to go the free agency route to replace the league's rushing champion.
ESPN Dallas reported on Tuesday that Murray's replacement would likely come via the draft if the Cowboys do, in fact, have to replace him.
It's been well-documented that this year's running back class in the draft is the best in recent memory, and the Cowboys' draft position (No. 27 in the first round) syncs up well with where some of those guys — potential first-rounders Todd Gurley and Melvin Gordon — are expected to go.

Spiller or Darren McFadden, which would leave you to believe their plan would be to get one of the two aforementioned rookies and then supplement him with Joseph Randle and Lance Dunbar, who are both under contract.
