Cowboys Lead Redskins at Half, 14-6

Dallas leads on the back of touchdowns by DeMarco Murray and Dez Bryant

With the first half wrapped up in Landover, the Dallas Cowboys are leading the Washington Redskins, 14-6.

After forcing a three-and-out on the Redskins’ first possession, newly signed return man Michael Spurlock took Sav Rocca’s punt 62 yards to the Washington three-yard line. A play later, DeMarco Murray took it in for the score and a 7-0 Dallas lead.

The Redskins came back to within a point with a pair of Kai Forbath field goals, but Tony Romo, Murray and co. orchestrated a 93-yard drive in the second quarter that was capped when Romo hit Dez Bryant in the back of the end zone to pull ahead 14-6, where we stand at half.

Bryant finished the half with 45 yards and the score on two catches. Romo is 5 for 9 passing, with 62 yards and a touchdown. Murray is once again having a nice day, with 62 yards and a touchdown on eight carries.
