Cowboys Lead Rams 17-0 at Half

Dallas has pretty much dominated the first half in all aspects

After 30 minutes of football, the Cowboys are up 17-0 over the visiting St. Louis Rams.

The Dallas run game looks to be back on track, with starter DeMarco Murray registering 96 yards and a touchdown in the first half, and Tony Romo is 12 of 14 for 112 yards and a touchdown. That touchdown, a two-yard strike to Dez Bryant, actually opened the game and gave Dallas a 7-0 lead.

The Cowboys didn’t slow down after that. Dan Bailey hit a 19-yard field goal late in the first quarter, and then in the second, DeMarco Murray capped a 67-yard drive with his first touchdown of the season to give the Cowboys a 17-0 lead--which is where we are at half.

The Cowboys defense is looking in fine form as well.

The Rams came into this game having not given up a sack in their last four games, dating back to last season. Sam Bradford has been sacked four times through the first 30 minutes, with DeMarcus Ware, Jason Hatcher, Orlando Scandrick and George Selvie bringing Sam Bradford to the turf.
