Cowboys, Falcons Tied 6-6 At Half

The kickers have provided all the scoring through 30 minutes of play in Atlanta

The Cowboys’ Dan Bailey hit field goals of 23 and 32 yards in the first quarter and the Falcons’ Matt Bryant answered with field goals of 45 and 46 yards in the second--the second of which came as time ran out on the first half--to give us a 6-6 tie at intermission in Atlanta.

Tony Romo has been pretty good through the first 30 minutes, at least from a statistical standpoint, going 10-for-17 for 153 yards and an 88.6 passer rating--but, as you know, he hasn’t been able to lead Dallas to pay dirt yet.

Once again without the services of DeMarco Murray, who is missing his third consecutive game with a sprained foot, the Dallas running game hasn’t been much better. The trio of Felix Jones, Lance Dunbar and Phillip Tanner has combined for 29 yards on 12 carries.

Dez Bryant, who was questionable coming into the game with a hip injury, is playing, but he finished the half with just one catch on three targets.

Nose tackle Jay Ratliff was injured on the final drive of the half, and his status going forward is unclear.
