Cowboys Committed to Home at Valley Ranch, For Now

The Cowboys have been at Valley Ranch since 1985

The Dallas Cowboys are committed to their home at Valley Ranch. For now.

The team headquarters has been in use since way back in 1985, and now, it’s somewhat lagging in terms of amenities, particularly when held up against the palatial environ of Cowboys Stadium. For instance, as ESPN Dallas points out, Valley Ranch is one of the few team headquarters in the league to not have a fully-functional kitchen on site.

You’re always looking to see what people have,” executive vice president Stephen Jones said. “At some point you’d have to take a look.”

Look, yes. But they’re not ready to make a move, or even announce an intention to make a move just yet.

“We’re always eyes wide open,” Jones said. “We’re having to do renovations out there. You never know for sure, but I’d still say right now Valley Ranch is where we are.”
