Cowboys Add Veteran LB Keith Rivers

Rivers signed a one-year deal with the Cowboys on Wednesday

The Dallas Cowboys got some linebacking help on Wednesday when they signed veteran Keith Rivers to a one-year deal.

Selected 9th overall in the 2008 Draft by the Bengals, Rivers spent four seasons in Cincinnati before being traded to the New York Giants prior to the 2012 season, after missing the entire 2011 campaign with a wrist issue.

The 28-year-old moved onto the Bills in 2014 but was released last month after playing one year of a two-year deal.

All told, in seven seasons in the NFL, Rivers has 291 tackles, three sacks and two interceptions while appearing in 84 games and starting 60.
