Cowboys Add Nine To Reserve/Future List

One of the signees is the son of legendary Redskins' corner Darrell Green

The first true week of the offseason got off to a busy start for the Dallas Cowboys on Monday. Dallas signed nine players to the reserve/future list, including wide receiver Anthony Armstrong, who spent some time with the team this season.

Additionally, the Cowboys added receiver Carlton Mitchell, long snapper Charley Hughlett, tight end Colin Cochart, linebacker Cameron Sheffield, tackle Aderious Simmons, cornerback Brandon Underwood and receiver Jared Green--who is the son of legendary Redskins’ cornerback Darrell Green.

As Calvin Watkins of ESPN Dallas points out, Hughlett has the best shot of making the team out of training camp, because the Cowboys’ mainstay at long snapper, L.P. Ladouceur, is set to become a free agent later this offseason.
