Cole Beasley, Equipment Guy?

According to the 5-foot-8 receiver, he's been mistaken on the road for the team equipment manager because of his size

As evidenced by a YouTube video showing Dallas receiver Cole Beasley throwing down a series of vicious windmill dunks, the SMU product may be among the more athletic Cowboys on the roster. But at 5-foot-8, Beasley doesn’t necessarily strike strangers as an NFL player at first glance.

In an appearance on the G-Bag Nation show on 105.3-FM “The Fan” this week, Beasley was asked if he was ever mistaken on the road as the team’s equipment manager because of his stature.

“Every time we played an away game or something, I’d always get that,” Beasley admitted, via the Dallas Morning News. “Either he’s the equipment guy or the kicker even when I’d just meet people randomly, and we’re at a Cowboys event. They were like ‘oh you must be the kicker.’ I’m like ‘the kicker is bigger is me.’”

A Little Elm product, Cole finished his rookie season with 15 catches and 128 yards.
