Clemson DE Shaq Lawson Visiting Valley Ranch

Lawson is projected to come off the board in the mid-first round

The Dallas Cowboys need pass rush help, and a very good pass rusher is at Valley Ranch for a pre-draft visit on Tuesday in the person of Clemson defensive end Shaq Lawson.

“Headed to Dallas for a visit with the Cowboys!” Lawson announced via Twitter on Monday, via the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

Lawson had a staggering 24.5 tackles for a loss and 12.5 sacks for the Tigers on their march to the NCAA National Championship Game, and is now projected as a mid-first round pick.

The Cowboys own the fourth overall pick, so unless they trade down they’ll likely miss him—they won’t select him as high as No. 4, in all likelihood, and he’ll probably be gone by the time it comes back around to their pick in the second round.
