Cowboys cornerback Morris Claiborne suffered a minor knee injury in practice on Tuesday, but the second-year LSU product isn’t too concerned about it--a standpoint shared by the team’s executive vice president Stephen Jones.
“You know you get that first initial pain when you do something, it scares you a little bit,” Claiborne said of the injury, per ESPN Dallas.
In other injury news, receiver Terrance Williams, who missed the Hall of Fame game after exhibiting concussion-like symptoms in the wake of a hit last Friday. Earlier in the week, Williams had said he’ll play in Friday’s preseason game against the Raiders, but it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen.
Williams has been diagnosed with a concussion and has yet to be cleared to practice.
"Got mental reps," Williams said Tuesday. "It's just frustrating, that's all. I'm going day by day. It's hard just to watch everyone. I can't just watch football and not being out there. I have to be patient."
