Claiborne Expects to Return to Action Monday Night

Mo Claiborne has missed the past two games with a strained hamstring

Dallas Cowboys cornerback Morris Claiborne expects to return to action on Monday night against the Redskins in Landover, Md, after missing the team’s past two games with a strained hamstring.

“I can't wait,” Claiborne said, per Todd Archer of ESPN Dallas. “It's a Monday night game. I'm excited for that, excited to be back on the field.”

Claiborne returned to practice on Thursday for the first time since suffering the injury, and anticipated starting slow, and picking up the intensity in as the game draws closer.

“That's definitely how it's going to play out,” Claiborne said. “I know they're not going to just throw me out there and just expect me to go. They're going to work me into it and I'm ready for it. We still have a couple more days to try to get ready for this game. So as the days go on, I feel like I've been getting better and better each and every day.”
