Choice Apologizes For Twitter Misstep

On Sunday night, perhaps the biggest news story is the past decade broke, when it was reported that Osama bin Laden, the mastermind behind the terrorist attacks of 9/11, had been killed by US special forces.

Cowboys’ running back Tashard Choice heard this news only later, and has come under some light scrutiny because of it.

You see, Choice is, apparently, a big fan of “To Catch a Predator,” which typically airs on Sunday nights on CNBC. Naturally, the news about Bin Laden preempted Chris Hansen and co. In response, Choice Tweeted [sic], "No to catch a predator tonight. Not cool cnbc.”

Of course, this was just a case of bad timing. Choice soon realized the reason behind the preempting, and offered apology to his Twitter followers, writing [again, sic], “My bad my tweet people osama bin laden being dead is better news.”

Agreed.
