Bryant To Return To Practice Tuesday

Rookie receiver Dez Bryant will return to practice today, a little over a month after suffering a high ankle sprain. Just how much he will participate is unclear, however, as is his status for Thursday’s exhibition game against Miami at Cowboys Stadium.

On Sunday night, Bryant hinted via Twitter that he would play, and owner Jerry Jones didn’t dismiss the idea after Saturday night’s 23-7 loss in Houston. But head coach Wade Phillips isn’t ready to set anything in stone.

"I still want to get feedback from the doctors and the rehab people as to where he is and what the risks are," Phillips said, per ESPN Dallas. "So, I think you have to take that into consideration certainly and whether another week and a half will be, he’ll be stronger or he’s the same. That’s part of it."
