Brian Billick Would Take Flacco Over Romo

The two quarterbacks will meet in Baltimore this Sunday

Former Baltimore Ravens head coach Brian Billick joined the “Galloway and Company” show on ESPN Radio 103.3 this week the discuss this weekend’s Ravens-Cowboys game, and while there, he was asked whether he’d take Tony Romo or Joe Flacco, should he be back in the saddle of head coaching.

This is a fairly obvious question to ask, because Dallas seemingly loves nothing more than debating whether the Cowboys would be better off with Romo or someone else. But in this case, Billick opted to go with Flacco, who he believes to be just now entering his prime.

“Wow. Because I like Tony Romo, I think Tony's got everything it takes ... his ability to make plays outside the design of the offense,” Billick said, via ESPN Dallas. “But I think Joe Flacco is emerging ... right on that edge of maybe becoming an elite quarterback. He's got everything going for him and obviously he's younger and stronger ... but right now, depends on what kind of offense I want to run but right now I think Joe Flacco ... I think he's playing a more complete game.”
