Helping the Dallas Cowboys defeat the Washington Redskins has certainly paid off for rookie Dan Bailey.
Not only did he kick six, yes six, field goals Monday night including the game winning kick. He has also been named the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week.
According to Nick Eatman with the Dallas Cowboys, Bailey was recognized by the league on Tuesday.
In his post, Eatman said, Bailey is the first Cowboys place-kicker to win the award since Nick Folk did the same back in 2007.
Bailey is also reportedly up for the Pepsi Rookie of the Week award.
