Baylor C Philip Blake Will Visit Dallas Next Week

This would seem to go along with Dallas's overhaul of the interior offensive line

The Dallas Cowboys have scheduled for Baylor University center Philip Blake to visit and work out at team headquarters at Valley Ranch on Monday, Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News reports.

A Toronto, Ontario native, Blake transferred to Baylor after one season (2008) at Tyler Junior College. He played three seasons at Baylor at right tackle and center, but is projected as a mid-round selection as a center in next month’s 2012 NFL Draft.

Dallas, of course, has been doing a bit of a remodeling project on the interior of the offensive line. They signed guards Nate Bernadeau (formerly of the Carolina Panthers) and Nate Livings (formerly of the Cincinnati Bengals) last week in their free agent signing bonanza--and though their center from last year, Phil Costa, is just entering his third year in the league, the team may want to upgrade following a season in which Costa struggled at times.
