First he breaks out in week five of the 2009 season with a record-breaking (and game-saving) performance against the Chiefs in Kansas City; then he wins a spot on the NFC Pro Bowl team; then he dates not only one of the Kardashians, but the best Kardashian. Now, Cowboys’ receiver Miles Austin has been announced as the cover-boy for the October issue of Muscle & Fitness Magazine.
Some guys have all the luck, I guess.
Austin will appear shirtless, a football in hand, staring back at readers intensely from the latest issue, which hits newsstands and other retailers on September 20, and is adorned in Cowboys blue and silver.
Austin recently posted pictures of his shoot, along with the cover shot, on his Twitter page. This is Austin’s second major magazine cover since emerging as a league superstar last season. He appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated last January.
