Pedestrian Dies After Being Struck by Two Cars on I-20, Officials Say

A pedestrian was killed Friday morning after they were struck by two vehicles on Interstate 20 in southeast Oak Cliff.The collision happened shortly after 4:30 a.m. near Bonnie View Road, according to the Dallas County Sheriff's Department.A red Toyota was driving westbound on the interstate when it struck the pedestrian, whose race and gender weren't provided. The driver of the Toyota told officials she couldn't see the victim and thought she hit debris in the roadway, sheriff's department spokesman Raul Reyna said in a statement.The pedestrian was pushed into a separate lane after the initial collision and was hit by black Nissan, officials said.The drivers of each vehicle stayed at the scene and aren't expected to be charged, Reyna said.The victim was not identified.  Continue reading...
