Give Today to the Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign

Donations Needed

NBC 5 encourages you to give to the Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign!

Due to the recent winter storm, the annual drive is down $184,000 according to the Salvation Army. When you combine the ice storm and a later start for the kettle drive, the total campaign is down $584,000 according to The Salvation Army.

The Salvation Army needs the generosity and kindness of North Texans to help make up the losses. The Red Kettle campaign is The Salvation Army's largest and most visible public fund raiser. Funds raised in the red kettles provide services locally not only at Christmas time, but throughout the year at The Salvation Army centers in Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, Denton, and Ellis Counties. Donations help provide food for the hungry, shelter for the homeless, and after-school care for children at Salvation Army community centers.

Please be sure to give when you see the red kettles which are located in various locations across the metroplex.
