NBC 5 and the American Cancer Society invite you to throw on your boots and jeans for the largest single-night fundraiser, The Cattle Baron’s Ball, on Saturday, October 15, at Gilley’s Dallas. Country artists, Toby Keith and Dwight Yoakam, join the fight against cancer as the entertainment headliners.
Since 1974, the Cattle Baron’s Ball has raised almost $68 million for American Cancer Society funded research, a majority of which is conducted in Dallas/Fort Worth. The American Cancer Society provides services to cancer patients in North Texas. Services include: providing rides to patients to and from treatment, arranging free wigs, research grants, visiting patients in the hospitals and helping enact strong state and local laws to protect workers and the public from secondhand smoke.
