The Greatest Generation's Greatest Day

August 15 & 16 at the Frontiers of Flight Museum

Join NBC 5 in celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the End of World War II (August 14th) on Saturday and Sunday, August 15 and 16, at the Frontiers of Flight Museum in Dallas. The events are open to the public and are to serve as a reminder, and a thank you, to the great contributions our Greatest Generation made. The museum has a developed a series of fun, educational, and interactive events for the whole family to help commemorate this special anniversary!

One of the programs highlights is sure to be the “Rosie the Riveter Rally” where the museum will attempt to set the Guinness World Record by having the most dressed-up “Rosie” look-alikes assembled in one location. Additional activities and attractions include, but are not limited to: Liberty Jump Team display, Living History Actors, singer Norma Valles, Atomic Bomb Development Presentations, and numerous children’s activities.
