30th Annual Debutante Ball

Hispanic Debutante Association of Fort Worth

NBC 5 and the Hispanic Debutante Association of Fort Worth cordially invite you to the 30th Annual Debutante Ball on Saturday, March 29, at the Ridglea Country Club in Fort Worth Texas. Social hour begins at 6:15 p.m. with the presentation beginning at 7:15 p.m.

The Hispanic Debutante Association of Fort Worth was founded in 1985 by Sam Garcia, Star Telegram Man of the Year in 2000.  Originally, the organization was dedicated to impact the alarming dropout rate of young Hispanic females.  However, in 1997 corporate sponsors suggested that males be invited to participate also.

A successful aspect of the Hispanic Debutante Association is the development of social etiquette and presentation skills. The Hispanic Debutante Association has awarded over $600,000 in scholarships since its inception.  This has been done through fund raising activities that include golf tournaments, dances, raffles, and the highlight of the year, the annual Debutante Ball.
