    NBC 5 News
An employee of the gas station woke up to "a loud bang" and found a van crashed into a supporting pillar at a Valero in Fort Worth on Friday, Feb. 27.

Friday's snowstorm ended a week of treacherous driving conditions that led to hundreds of accidents across North Texas.

A Valero service station at West Freeway and Taxco was damaged after a van crashed into a support column. An employee told NBC 5 the van was exiting Interstate 30 when it lost control and slammed into the pillar at around 8:30 Friday night.

There were no reports of injuries, but the accident is believed to be just one in a long list of others caused by icy conditions.
