Freezing rain and cold temperatures have already forced the closure of many school districts and businesses early Tuesday morning.

Freezing rain and cold rain is expected to continue through Tuesday where a high of 28 and a low of 25 is expected. Be the first to know when a school or business posts a closing or delay with NBCDFW's email and SMS alerts.

As of 8 a.m., no icy roads or bridges have been reported in DFW, but conditions are expected to deteriorate throughout the morning. Icy conditions have been reported in the surrounding counties to the north and northwest of Tarrant County.
