Midwest Weather Alters Plans for Southwest Airlines

Customers on certain flights are eligible to rebook

Travelers flying Southwest Airlines to and from select locations are eligible to rebook their flight in anticipation of wintry weather.

Flights on that list include the following airports:

Jan. 20
Chicago Midway (MDW)
Columbus (CMH)
Indianapolis (IND)
Pittsburgh (PIT)

Jan. 21
Columbus (CMH)
Indianapolis (IND)
Pittsburgh (PIT)

Southwest said customers who booked their flights at southwest.com can reschedule their flight online. Those who did not purchase their tickets online are encouraged to call Southwest at 1-800-435-9792. The new flight must take place within 14 days of the original date of travel and include the same destination in order to avoid additional charges.

As winter weather conditions continue to develop, other flights may be delayed, diverted, or cancelled altogether.
