Martin Lisius, Storm Tracker

Martin Lisius has been a NBC 5 Storm Tracker since we started the program, and we're glad to have him.

Since 2003, Lisius has seen over 30 tornados and has the largest library of StormStock footage in the world with his company Prairie Pictures, Inc.

In 1991, Lisius tracked his first tornado in Noble County, Okla. The category F-5 storm wasn't the largest storm he has tracked -- he was in Spencer, S.D., for a tornado 0.8 miles wide.

When he's not chasing storms, Lisius serves as the chairman of the Texas Severe Storms Association and the President and found of Tempest Tours, Inc., the most successful storm chase tour company in the country with over 60 tornado intercepts since 2003.
